Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 GMC Terrain- Video

Hey, everybody. Today, we're gonna be going over the Hollywood Racks Destination two-bike rack, here on a 2022 GMC Terrain. So here is what our bike rack is gonna look like on our vehicle with one bike attached. Now the backup camera is probably not gonna be very useful when you have two bikes on there, but that's to be expected with pretty much any bike rack on the back of this vehicle. Now in regards to your rear view glass here, the handlebars are probably gonna stick up a little bit, but you're still gonna have some decent visibility, and you obviously still have your mirrors to use on the sides as well. So you're not really foregoing any safety here, you're just gonna be foregoing some of the convenience features such as your rear view camera. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 GMC Terrain- Video

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 GMC Terrain, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Super Clamp EX 2-Bike Platform Rack, part number SA4025F. Now, we do have a bike installed, so let's get a closer look at some of these features.Like a lot of platform-style racks, this can tilt away from your vehicle to give you access to your trunk. We're just going to pull up on this handle like that, let it tilt away, and as you can see, we can open up our trunk. One of the cool things is that you can see there's a lot of space between the handlebars and the trunk, so you're not going to have to worry about that too much either with whatever bike you choose to put on. So you're able to slide in, get whatever you need, and you can close it up. To tilt it up, just grab ahold of the bike rack and push up until you hear that audible latch.Now we have four different points where our bike is secured to the bike rack. more

This versions gonna allow you to carry two bikes and it has a no frame contact which is particularly important if you have a carbon fiber bike. Softride Element Hitch Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain we're going to be test fitting the Softride Element Parallelogram, a tilting 4-bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches with part number SR26248. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. In this position we'll have about 12 and a quarter inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle's about three and an half inches away, and overall we've added about 12 and a quarter inches to the length of the car. Pulling the two silver pins at the top of the mast will allow us to swing out our dual cradle arms. We'll rotate them into position and reinsert the pins to hold them in place. With our arms extended we've added about 27 and a half inches to the Terrain. We're now ready to load our bike. We'll begin by undoing our cradle straps. more

Pulling the grey lever at the base of the rack will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle into platform position. more

Softride Dura Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain we're going to be test fitting the Softride Dura Parallelogram, a tilting four bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches part number Sr26247. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pinholes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. We'll then secure it using the provided lock. In this position we have about 12 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle's about six inches away and overall we've added about 37 inches to the length of the car. A great feature of the Dura Parallelogram is its removable cradle arms. By simply pushing the black levers located on the rear of the rack we can pull out our arms. With our arms removed we've only added about 15 inches to the length of the car. To replace our arms we'll simply push them in place until we hear them click. more

In this position, we have about 12-1/4 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about 5-1/4 inches. Overall weve added about 13-1/2 inches to the length of the car. Pulling the yellow T-handle at the base of the rack will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle. As you can see, this gives us full access into our rear hatch. more

Overall we've added about 29-1/2" to the length of the vehicle. Pulling the silver pin at the base of the rack will allow us to tilt the mast away from our vehicle. As you can see this does give us great access into our rear hatch. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Tow n Go Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Rack's Traveler Tow-and-Go, 3-bike rack for 2-inch ball mounts, part number HR135. We're going to be using the hidden hitch ball mount with a 3/4-inch rise and a 2-inch drop. It's part number is 80232, which is not included. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the ball mount into the receiver tube of our hitch. Line up our holes and install our pin and clip. With this configuration, our rack will have a little bit of a wobble to it, side-to-side. We do have anti-rattle devices available. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler 5 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler. A tilting 5-bike rack for two-inch hitches, part number HR9200. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down with a wrench. We'll then secure it with the provided clip. In this position, we'll have about 12 1/4 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the vehicle is about 10 inches away. more

Hollywood Racks Traveler Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler, a tilting four bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches part number HR8500. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, we'll line up our pinholes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. We can then secure it wit the provided clip. In this position we'll have about 12 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle's about six inches away. Overall we've added about nine and a half inches to the length of the Terrain. Pulling the black pin at the base of the mast will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle. As you can see, this does gives us full access into our rear hatch. With our mast back in its upright position and our pin reinserted we'll now pull the pin at the top of the mast. This is going to allow us to swing out our dual cradle arms. more

SportRack Super EZ Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the Sportrack Super EZ platform-style 2 bike rack for 1 1/4 and 2 inch hitches, part number SR2901LR. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our head. We'll line up our pinholes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. We'll then secure it with the provided lock. In this position, we have about 15 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about 8 1/2 inches away. Overall, we've added about 24 1/2 inches to the length of the Terrain. more

Yakima StickUp 2 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today, on our 2013 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima StickUp, a folding and tilting two-bike rack for 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches, part number Y02420. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it with a wrench. We can then secure it with the provided clip. In this position, well have about 12-1/2 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicle is about 2-3/4 quarters of an inch away. And overall, we've added about 9 inches to the length of the Terrain. Pulling the red knob located on the left side of the rack will allow us to tilt it into its platform position. In this position, we have about 18-1/2 inches worth of ground clearance here at the rear. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. Well line up our pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt and tighten it down with a wrench. In this position, well have about 11-1/4 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of the rack to the back of our vehicles about 6-1/2 inches away and overall, weve added about 15-1/2 inches to the length of the Terrain.Pulling the gold pin located at the base of the mast will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle. As you can see, this gives us great access into the rear hatch. With our mast back in its upright position and the pin reinserted, well now pull the pin at the top of the mast. more

To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of our bike rack into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up our pin holes, well then thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down with a wrench. With our rack in this position, we have about 12 inches worth of ground clearance. The closest point of our rack to the back of our vehicle is about 3-1/4 inches away, and overall weve added about 11-3/4 inches to the length of the car. Pulling the grey lever located at the base of the mast will allow us to tilt it away from our vehicle. As you can see, this gives us great access into our rear hatch.With our mast back in its upright position, well now pull the grey lever located at the top of the mast. more

Yakima Holdup Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2010 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on this 2010 GMC Terrain, were going to do test fit of part number Y02433 from Yakima. This is our Holdup 2 Bike Rack. Well go ahead and start our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch, well tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and put the safety pin on the other side. Okay, with our bike rack installed, well go ahead and give you some measurements that will give you an idea of clearance between the bicycle rack and the bumper and the ground. The closest point between the rear well and the bumper is going to be 4 inches. Lets go ahead and unfold the bike rack and well give you two more measurements on ground clearance. more

Two quick notes about this bike rack, it does carry two bikes and it can work with 1-1/4 inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. It also works with 2-inch receiver hitch with the included spacer. And we'll start off by using this bicycle rack and a 2-inch receiver with the included spacer to work with it.
